Hi everyone,

i've been experimenting with some water clear resins, what i've found out is they are extremely hard to print with normal off the shelve projectors.

tweaking my current setup with a custom projector produced these 2 lovely ear buds.

layer thickness = 0.05mm
exposure time = 4.8 sec per layer.
intensity set to 102% on my projector
pull up speed 50
down speed 650

vat - flex vat

hi. i also had a try with clear resin.
what tweak of projector you made?
here is my best result. same resin with and without pigment. layer time 400ms and 300ms.
with less time print will be broken

actually it was an trail and error, with exposure times en light intensity.

got the water clear printing pretty well now.

although this is a failed print(leak in the flex vat)

Was it printed with your acer?
Mine was printed with acer p1500 with ptfe flex vat.

this one wasn't.. i have similar prints though.. printed with my acer p1500

layer height should be set to 0.05mm though.. per layer..

Was this the Venus Creator water clear? (If so, was it the standard or B9Creator formulation?) Or some other brand of water clear?
