The ribbon cable does a 90 degree turn and goes into the case and connects to the small circuit board. Now if this ribbon cable is broken you will need a new LCD display.

Good news on the front " Z axle ": I modified the shaft with a pitch 2, I added a screw anti backlash with amazing result, no more waving effect ...

I modeled this 1 cm thick, to be placed above the engine, because the joint hit the end stop sensor
