Feature Request: Stroke slice for thin walls

Hi all,
I've been thinking about the problem of thin walls on complex models lately. It might make more sense to do the wall thickening after slicing vs trying to do it in the 3D geometry.
For example
Take a slice and select the white areas
Then stroke the selection, towards the inside, set the stroke pixels as wide as you want for the walls
Advantages are that you don't need to edit the original 3d model (extra GEO and headache)
and that you can change the wall thickness for printing at different scales on the fly.
The only problem might be that you can't get large flat surfaces to print (like a table top) because they are auto walled. Maybe if there's a way to flag certain layers to skip the wall process?
Let me know what you guys think or if there's already a way to do this!
Thanks,
Vaughan
