http://vimeo.com/105584259looks like its just some sort of UV light source channeled through a fibre optic to some lenses and then projected onto a thin layer of resin. I guess its sorta like a laser cutter/engraver works. Seems like it would be slow though.

I believe it's a XY moving DLP chip. Otherwise it's a normal top down setup, they changed the resin delivery a bit because of the high viscosity of the ceramic mixture.
So the crucial thing would be to miniaturize a projector to make it fit onto an XY carriage and we're in business xD

I see that it's a top-down with a moveable X/Y projector. That's a geometry I know CW can already accommodate. It looks like they are using a secondary resin chamber with a wiper to wipe a layer of the resin from the secondary tank over the surface of the build area. I guess my question is: Does this completely fill up the build area with the resin, or does the resin only stick to the last printed layer?

My guess is that it still fills up completely, the second chamber may be there to constantly mix the resin to keep the ceramic particles in suspension. If you only make it stick to the already printed parts then a meniscus is bound form due to surface tension. imagine a glass slightly overfilled with water, but not spilling yet..

Does anyone know if there is a magazine available in the UK speciffically for Machine Embroidery?
Many thanks.
