DLP vs SLA vs LED ARRAY vs ANYTHING ELSE :)

Hi dear community, I think I'm need of some advice please
to cut a long story short - I have a DLP Optoma HD25, which work excellent (except for spheric effect of bulb, which all DLPs have).
~10x18 cm print area is not enough for me, with only 100 micron xy resolution.
My main goal is to get BIG (25x25 cm print area or more)
At this point I will really appreciate your help here:
1) Yeah I've seen a lot of talk about UV LED array with Ipad / LCD / etc - at the moment it's so raw, almost unusable.
If I understood correctly - 3W UV LEDs array will work fine, just need to find proper angle optics and power supply for array.
My main question - what is the problem of using such UV LED ARRAY with LCD, something about black is not being black on LCD?
Anyone please? Thank you
2) What interest me the most - Laser.
Questions are the following:
1) I will need 2x stepper motors to move the laser, correct?
2) which laser you guys used, power, etc - any specification will help
3) how is lasershark board I've seen on forum is connected with this.
Sorry for basic questions, but any help is so much appreciated,
Warm regards,
