Hi,
I'm testing my Acer H6510BD at the moment and the manual says I should have following settings on the screen (see attached screenshot of the manual)
BUT: I do only have the following:
Projection
Aspect ratio
Keystone
Sharpness
HDmi color range
HDMI Scan info
....so no way of changing the vertival and horizontal position of the image!?

No the H6510BD does not allow for image shifting, well it does but not the way you want it will shift the image in the projected area to center your image but not a full shift. Most DLP projectors are like this and have a offset for image depending on how far you are from the screen/surface.

Sorry for the interruption,
May a newbie ask way is needed (or wanted) the "image shifting"... well, first of all, what is image sifting? is to "rotate" 90ยบ the image? in that case, how is maintained the native resolution??Thanks in advance.

Image shift is exactly what it sounds like, you would be able to move the projected image left or right up or down on the projection surface. Most DLP projectors do not have this feature built in but it's very common on LCD projectors.
Side not you can't rotate the image 90 deg you can rotate it 180 deg and mirror it in either of those directions as well so there is 4 options of image projection.

Ok,
Thanks Clinton.
As I understood from the link, this is a lens feature (vertical and Horizontal), so I expect this feature in big and expensive projectors...

How small picture can be focused on this projector?
What is the minimum size?
What is the optimal distance between the projector and a container with resin?

@finhead: how is the sharpness at the edges for you? I'm using a first surface mirror and noticed some issues towards the top of the projected image. Have you had any problems so far?

It sounds like you guys are not modifying the Acer H6510BD at all? No need for a shutter?
