Hmm, yeah, getting a uniform light array is not easy.
We needa get some other data points about curing times aside from Photocentric. They didn't spec what layer height they were using when they reported the 55 sec layer time. They only mention the Retina display would give them a XY resolution sub 100 microns.

Re: Retina iPad Display
Hello new guy here. This may be a dumb uneducated question, but I just saw that photocentric has a screen offering that is 9.7" that comes with connector and driver board. Firstly, is this achieving the same as what you are trying to do with iPads? Does it need to be modified on any way?
Secondly I'm assuming you connect the supplied interface board to your computer. Then the connection to the lcd, which is set up to expose the vat from underneath. But you still need a separate motor driver for the z axis also correct? Does this interface in any way with the display board or is it a separate component that also connects to the computer and runs the z axis from the sliced commands?
Not hijacking your thread and if I need to move it I will. Thank for your help.

Re: Retina iPad Display
Also realized something, can the RasPi even handle the resolution of a Retina display? It says max video resolution of 1080P...does that not matter since we are using it for still images?
