CW & LaserShark based - New Laser SLA Build

Here's the place to post pics / video and discussions regarding hardware you've built or are in the process of building.

CW & LaserShark based - New Laser SLA Build

Hi!

I'm sharing here some pictures and video of my CW-Lasershark based SLA printer.

Some highlights:

- I have used Arduino Mega with Ramps 1.4 and Marlin. Very easy to customize Marlin. It works to the perfection with CW
- Lasershark also works fine
- mechanical parts I have sketched & purchased
- VAT is a stack of 2 15mm walls and a 4mm cristal bottom cristal (10 M6 inox screws tightening them)
- in the begining I have got problems with one of the galvos (not moving), but I have reinstalled drivers and now it's fine

In the links below you'll see the first test, there are still lots of work to do... Like...

- upper & lower enclosure
- aluminium parts sanding...
- VAT coating...
- install TTL Laser board (waiting for)...

Where I need some help, if someone there knows a solution:

1) As we can see in the video, actually the laser spot remains in an uncentered position, in the oposite corner. When the machine starts drawing the layers, the laser spot goes out of the VAT. Is it possible to set laser "home" position through CW software or LaserShark firmware? I would help avoiding to reverse galvo position (more mechanical parts...).

2) I didn't find any point to make the correlation between galvo openning angle | galvo to VAT distance | VAT size, I suppose that it is key to print parts at real STL dimensions.

anybody help?!
