Commercial Lenses

The light uniformity of projector is really important if you want to use your whole plate, the first step is to apply mask. But what ever you do you can't completely calibrate your projector lens.
I was thinking of replacing the projector's cheap lenses with some commercial perfect lenses like canon's. Besides I think you can use some motorized lenses so it would be possible to calibrate it more precisely.
Does anyone have any idea about it?
