I want to ask if such item is Ok for using it as Z-axis?

That looks like it will work well. You'll be able to make some really tall prints with a 300mm axis.

But I`m worried about 8 mm pitch. So at one rotation
of stepper motor the platform will move 8 mm.
If I use 1.8°/step stepper driver in 1/8 microstep mode
will my system be precise enough?
