This is my first build and I wanted something with over 1000 on both axes. Would something like this work? I don't want to purchase something to find out it doesn't work. I had a friend fighting with an Optima for months.
This is my first post. I have done a bunch of research already. I'm sure I still have more to learn.

I don't think it will work. It's a liquid crystal projector.

Re: Canon REALiS SX6 (LCoSi)
I know people have been using pico projectors with LCoSi, so I wasn't sure if this standard sized projector would work. I haven't been able to find any good pictures of the inside of one.
Edit:
Pico Projectors are just one chip with an RGBW LED. The Canon REALiS Line are THREE chip with a single lamp. This setup splits the white into RGB and then recombines. I'm planning on using a UV LED so who knows what will get filtered, or if I could even remove whatever filter mechanisms are in the projector.

I know lcos can work. I build sameone last week.
Now I have a problem.
5W UV 395nm is too slow to cure resin.
But 360nm maybe hurt Lcos.
If I use 10W UV LED. The big thermal aluminum will be another problem.

From a comment from the linked blog; " Hey Rich,
what have you changed on your LCoS projector to protect the LC molecules from getting damages due to the UV light?
My LCoS was damaged after 100hours of printing with a 5W UV LED."
I think that's the main problem, but do try and report back to us your experiences.

Re: Canon REALiS SX6 (LCoSi)
I have picked up an Optoma EP910 for use instead.
