Re: Acer H6510BD
i am doing a little research about the light uneveness in this projector.
There is a device, called light tunnel rod, where light pass after the color wheel. it has two screws to adjust the direction of the light. its not exclusive of this projector, every dlp projector has one.
search google " light tunnel dlp" for a physical description.
perhaps fine adjust these screws can relocate the hot spot and put it more focused on the center. someone wants to screw up his projector prematurely ? we need courageous ppl !!

Re: Acer H6510BD
i gave up on the acer..returned it.
i decided to make my optoma home theater projector (dh1011) into my main SLA projector and i returned the acer and bought another optoma (hd26) for my home theater. I recently found an extremely cheap ($40) replacement lamp for my dh1011 ..the uv blocking glass piece doesnt block any uv at all (from what i could tell when comparing it to the stock piece with a uv laser). using this setup i am currently curing .075mm layers in 3 seconds

Re: Acer H6510BD
I reopen this old post to ask what brightness values used for the prints with this projector Acer H6510BD, distance 50 microns, because in the configuration of the projector I found the brightness set to +75 and I changed this value to + 30. / +25 because the light was too strong, and using the castable FTD RED resin, I saw that with exposure times between 2.10 sec. and 1.85 seconds in spaces that are too small instead of remaining in space, the resin fills them and closes them. If I lower the exposure again then the prints do not come completely. This is the other post with the tests viewtopic.php?f=8&t=12648
