Re: First semi-successful print
How is oversampling performed? Only from what I have read, it appears that LED projectors don't have the power of the mercury lamps, and need more time. How will you determine what LED projector is best? I'm considering purchasing the Acer H6510BD. But if a LED can build a layer just as fast as a 30...

3D Systems V-Flash" 3D Modeler, rocks the build platform back and forth, i.e. stair steps it up to initiate separation. In this video you can see the build platform rocking back and forth on the up stroke to initiate separation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Rs7RQpO8p0#t=68 In this video you...

Funny thing, got Bank mail wrapped with nano translucent sheet. Immediately tested it on a UV resin.. Peels amazingly fast & clean

I think the translucent sheet is acetate.

Re: AMRI 2014
Getting a bitmap or raster system would be so welcome.
I think it's a typo.

Re: Teflon membrane with a resin film recoater, replaces the
Tks! The FTI 230 V-Flash® Modeler uses a clear acetate film (cellulose). Has acetate film been tried as a release substrate? Do you think the acetate film technique has an advantage over using a vat, e.g. printing finer details without distortion? I'm thinking that there is more work involved to mak...

Acetat membrane with a resin film recoater, eliminates vat
A method that eliminates the vat, it builds the object on top of what looks to like a Teflon membrane that is recoated after each layer. What are your thoughts on this technology, is it some thing you want to try, advantages/disadvantages? I'm looking for more information on this separating/coating ...

Transparent LASER Mask
Nanoparticles are embedded in the transparent material. These tiny particles can be tuned to scatter only certain wavelengths, or colors, or light, while letting all the rest pass right through. That means the glass remains transparent enough to see colors and shapes clearly through it, while a sing...

Belt drive Z-axis
I'm looking for an example of a belt, and pulley Z-axis drive being applied to a DLP-SLA printer. My math indicates it's not possible, but maybe there is a workaround that I have not considered. I have read of one person saying they saw an example of a belt driven DLP-SLA printer, but a reference wa...
