Acrylic Flex Vat
So after seeing Finhead's flex bottom vat, I decided to try my hand at making my own. :D http://i58.tinypic.com/29p9rif.jpg http://i59.tinypic.com/2dl8b3c.jpg The rectangle parts are laser cut, while the vat walls were saw cut and routed to make sure they'd bond well. The teflon is clamped between t...

Re: Creation Workshop RC9 - Not on GitHub!
That exposure testing mode sounds interesting, I'll have to play around with v28, thanks!

Re: Flex bottom VAT
Looks good! I've been playing around with a similar design, but so far I've just been using adhesive instead of a clamp.

Re: Beamer delay
I had this problem when I was running CW on my old netbook, and I did the same exact thing with adding a half second delay! The problem went away completely when I switched to a more powerful computer. You wouldn't think that CW would be that resource intensive, but maybe it isn't releasing the memo...

Re: Resins For Investment Casting
I'm surprised no one has mentioned B9Creator's B9R-Red. It's marketed specifically for casting, after all. http://b9creator.com/product/b9r-1-red- ... g-2-2-lbs/

Re: Creation Workshop RC5 - Not on GitHub!
Can the Gcode from a slice be modified once created? It does seem a little odd that we can delete code from CW but not add/modify it. Fortunately, you can always open the generated Gcode file in notepad/whatever, change whatever you want, hit save, and then back in CW hit "load gcode" to ...

Re: "Bottom Up" versus "Top Down" Style of 3D Printer
Haven't a clue, sorry. My own personal experience is only with bottom up...I was just theorizing about top down.
