Foot in high heel - top down system
Can't even express in words how much more I prefer top down systems. After trying both systems, fighting with the vat coating and release issues top down is a breath of fresh air. The widget was the first print from the system. Just a shape test really that included an angle, sharp corner, radius, f...

Great neutral density filter
I use this a lot for focusing the DLP and for viewing the image while building (top down unit). Very nice to have a variable filter. Can't beat the price... http://www.amazon.com/NEEWER%C2%AE-Neutral-Density-Adjustable-Variable/dp/B0059ATVJW/ref=sr_sp-atf_title_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1391371043&sr=...

Re: Makerjuice seems to eat enamel paint
Pretty tough stuff for being a "non-irritant" eh? Also they talk about "you can sit right next to ours and not need a gas mask." - well. Actually I worry less about the odor than I do the smoke that I see coming off of it when printing. There isn't a lot but seems like it can't b...

Re: G code to execute every N cycles
I am never making suggestions with the "please get right on it" attitude...just making suggestions to discuss and implement when and if possible to improve real world use of the product.
Your efforts are appreciated, thank you.

G code to execute every N cycles
Would be useful to have a magnetic stirrer to agitate pigment every so often in a top down system. Another category in the custom G-code area that could execute every N cycles would help facilitate turning on an output for the stirrer, waiting some delay period and then resuming the build.

Makerjuice seems to eat enamel paint
Making a top down system and had a steel arm and platform holder that I sprayed with Rustoleum automotive enamel paint (gloss white) - after 36 hours drying (at about 75 degrees) did a 20 minute print in SubG+ resin. Paint coming off and softening now. So don't do this...

RC3 - first image shows automatically at end of slicing
After slicing completes the first image appears (most unwanted) automatically...leading to panicked search for "show blank" button. Using projector on \\display2 in this case.

Re: Anti-aliasing improvements - should be non-linear
When you choose the export images option does the software use these images for the build? I wonder if I can do some further post processing on them before starting the build. Is there a way to enable this?

Anti-aliasing improvements - should be non-linear
The biggest area for quality improvement in larger build sizes relates to the anti-aliasing function I think. The curing is non linear with respect to pixel brightness. Example - if the vector line of an edge intersects 50% of a target pixel the brightness setting should be closer to 220 instead of ...
