Re: Mask
Guys, don't forget there is always vignetting from the camera lens. So you should also make a mask for the photograph or use a SLR with a lens that lightroom can correctly correct

Re: Mask
I also had very little success. I photographed the projected image brightness, Made a mask in Photoshop and tuned the hell out of it. After making the mask I set up a print of a box that covered all the surface and re-photographed the projection to make sure it was the same brightness. Due to the na...

Re: Lines.. Everywhere, lots of them
Ok, thank you. Ofc I tried my best to keep the models watertight but most programs fail to fix them or just crash. They are complex models with 200.000 to 1 million polygons.

Lines.. Everywhere, lots of them
Hello. I encounter the following problem in most models I try to print (the more complex ones), no matter what computer I am on. CW on around 10% of the layers generates horizontal lines that end up being holes or missing parts of the model alltogethere. The meshes are all collapsed, closed and chec...

Back to wiper system
So going back to the drawing board after the mess that was the reverse-flexiVAT system I came to the conclusion that maybe I should go for an established system for top-down. So this is my design of the wiper system made especially for my tank (it is an actual custom made fish tank). It is removable...

Re: New DLP technique : The reverse flexi-vat for top-down :
Hello Dear Aurelm; Thanks for your post, I have been holding on the exposure of my device. There Is much more attached, to this rapid printing process, This is a Kinemtic FEP film holder, positions it self simply by gravity. I am still working on to get-it Patented; Definitely I can use some paid h...

Re: New DLP technique : The reverse flexi-vat for top-down :
Let me see if I understand this process correctly. You position the normal build plate a certain distance from the surface of the resin in the vat. you lower the flex plate to the desired build height on the build. say 50 microns. you cure that layer with the projector and move on to the next layer...

New DLP technique : The reverse flexi-vat for top-down :)
This was something I tried with good results to fix the bulging problem of top-down dlp printing that I kept getting for larger surfaces (especially when adding extra pigment and the thickness of the resin increases). I had a couple of options : 1 - Go bottom-up : Too much work to do and I really li...

Re: Glycerin is the way to go for top-down
It's simple. I wanted to add some pigment into the resin. For that I have to remove the resin from there and put it in another container and do the pigmentation. After that put it back on the container. I did not like that at all, not at all :) After that there were little bubbles of resin floating ...
