Re: What causes the radial 'banding' on many high res resin prints
.. Hughes when you turned it on, did you see it reduce the banding pattern, or just overall smoothness? the banding was reduced for me, although i cannot zoom in on your picture so i'm not sure we have the same defect. i had these "irregularities" especially on curved surface. Worth a try.

have you tried turning on anti-aliasing when slicing ? CW has this option. It helped me to improve surface smoothness.

Re: Resin Features & Properties Wish List
I think the ratio of build plate adhesion to vat adhesion is probably the #1 unaddressed issue today, despite the large number of resins out on the market. This is so interesting and somewhat surprising to me. Although now that you say it, in our experience with the Form 1+, we just thought that we...

Re: Resin Features & Properties Wish List
Strenght of final part is really the show stopper for me with current resins. If we could approach high grade aluminum properties, would be great. Speed of printing is not much if print reliability is not there. I would prefer a slower resin that works all the time, that way I can leave the printer ...

Tough resins being developed by Adaptive 3D
Maybe you guys have seen this article on 3ders.org: http://www.3ders.org/articles/20160104-adaptive-3d-custom-plastics-for-creating-toughest-and-softest-3d-printed-polymers.html This company has developed very tough SLA resins and are apparently selling them already. Although they seem to work only ...

Spam: got questions
There is a lot of spam on our forum. Don't want to say it's an easy problem to manage.
Is there a setting to put a limit on the number of posts a new user can create per day ? Would set it at one per day.
Or a technical question about DLP when a new user registers ?
