Re: Bottom-Up Printer Distortions - Help From The Knowledge
Please explain how you are using UV with an LCD? LCD's block UV. If you are indeed using an LCD, what LCD panel? Light source? LCD printers do not suffer from X-Y scaling issues, your X-Y dimension is determined by the actual image size on the LCD. The X-Y should not change as its fixed by the LCD. ...

^^What he said.. Also, one issue most people overlook, the larger you project the slices the less light power you have so your cure times will go up.

Re: Perforated build plate uneven...tips?
I use 1/4" MIC-6 Aluminum Tool Plate, its extremely flat stuff. It does not come perforated though, so I have to run it through my CNC to drill the holes for it. Any tool plate should be very flat. You can find MIC-6 online in places like Ebay and Onlinemetals.com

Re: Super Fast ‘Membrane Based’ 3D
LCD on top means that there is an LCD screen at the top of the machine.. have a look at the pictures. While I could be wrong, I cant see how you could project the image from a large 4k LCD onto a top down based machine. Light scatters very quickly after it passes through the LCD. Also, have you look...

Not 100% but im pretty sure Its a top down printer with a projector, not an LCD mask. The LCD they are referring to on thei...

When I tried PDMS it was on a sheet of glass, so no oxygen could get to it. I was using a tilt release with no success. Perhaps if were able to make or get thin membranes of PDMS we could try it like a flex vat? I think PDMS will still stretch a lot? Maybe that other Silicone membrane that had decen...
