its not only the output that matters its also the kind of resolution you want to get.
the bigger your print area, the rougher a print will be. with a projector you are always stuck with the number of pixels.

I have been using FDM for quite a few years now and are thinking about SLA

From what i have read laser is worse than DLP when it comes to print quality so i was thinking of going for that

I have also read that you can strip an old monitor down to the bare LCD panel itself... ie rip out all the difuser sheets etc until you have the glass panel with the flex cables on that you can see through with the naked eye

take that panel and put a BRIGHT uv lamp under it and use that setup as a bottom up setup. But is that any good compared to the DLP projector setup?


also i have yet to find a prober build guide for an printer. so far i have only seen "in progress" and done printers without any info

i was after something in the 200*300mm range... i know the output will always be what the projector is.. hence i aim a little bigger so i dont get under 200*200

are my thoughts possible?
