Build Your Own SLA/SLS

Hi guys,

We (2 engineers ) have been planning about this for awhile and we are starting our build
A quick intro: we are a duo team consistent a mechanical engineer, and a electrical engineer and we worked on a FDM project before.

This build will be a arm based SLA (laser + galvo but not mirror) bottom up printer. Because there is no mirror, it is going to be a bit bigger. build volume is 130 x 130 x 160mm

this is how we designed it too look:


some of the parts have arrived, including CNC frames



will continue to update as parts arriving shortly and we start to put them together for testing

the build area is very big for buttom up, looking forward on your epxeriences dealing with that.

It is, without mirror, we would need a longer distance for laser.


Being running tests before I got the frame. We would need to make some changes to the firmware
