Build Your Own SLA/SLS

Just want to say hello to everyone reading this and leave some pictures of my build below.

As on every Arduino project I really appreciate that cs's like Steve share their work with us. Thanks for that Steve!

My setup is:

Sled/Z-Axis
4x SC12UU on steel guiding rails
2x ballscrew 16/5
2x 48Ncm stepper with NEMA 17 mount and flex coupling

Electronics
Arduino/Ramps 1.4
Acer 6510
RC servo (shutter)
Odys Wintab

Frame
stainless steel and 30x30/30x60 profile
height approx. 1500mm

Vat
flex vat with .1mm FEP (thx Henry) with 230 x 130 mm build size in x and y (340mm in z)

first prints (ftd ib)

nice and clean machine. congrats.

can you post your print settings? i have almost same setup as you ( acer, flexvat, FTD IB ) and yet have problems with some prints.

lift @ 80mm/min (scratched the FEP while cleaning...)
retract @ 150mm/min

build plate is sanded

uhm, seeing you exposure times, i think your xy resolution is not 50 microns, maybe 100 microns? also, what % is your brightness in your acer?

projector is on factory settings - eco, 50% brightness...resolution was about 75µm on the shown prints

Due to the plenty of holes in the last design I have had some adhesion problems especially in printing objects with a small footprint. Hope the new design will cope with this problem.
