Build Your Own SLA/SLS

I just started buying parts, thought I'd start my build log. I'll keep this list up to date as I buy parts, etc. This will be a bottom-up build with some design aesthetics in mind. Prices in Canadian w/tax for reference

Electronics:

Just a little background info on myself: I'm an industrial designer, I've made a few experimental CNC machines in the past. I have a wood and metal hobby shop. Owned a Makerbot 2 (not too happy with them), enough to wet my feet in 3d printing at least.

And my Grad project, modular CNC machine that can be rearranged in various configurations, and folds into a cart for ease of transportation. I got some press off this one and got in the top 12 (out of 500+) for the James Dyson Design Award in 2010, notable mentions in Core77 Design Awards, etc . For my SLA printer, it probably won't be as experimental as my CNC machines. I have a feeling once I finish my printer, it would be quickly taken apart for a 2nd version. I won't know what until I make one first.
