I've given up on my Proniks 3D printer even after installing a new LCD nothing happens. I was only able to make one or tweo successful prints before everything went Haywire!
So I'm going to build a brand new 3D printer from scratch and since I've already bought most of the replacement parts for this machine I will be using them.
Now I heard of a company that has made a single board that replaces the ramp and video board, do any of you know the company name and email? If not I will continue my search to find it.
On my next build I plan on using the 5.5 screen with adapter and a 9.7 screen when I need to do larger prints, the two LCD screens will be interchangeable the smaller one will use adapter.
UV light will be done by multiple LED's and total output will be between 80-100 watts. I expect cure times of 2-3 seconds
I also plan on incorporating a UV curing station so it will be a complete unit.
Now since this is still in the design stage I would appreciate any suggestions as to electronics, and the mechanical aspects of this build. The footprint will be about the size of a laser printer, so it will still be a desktop. I will start building the base in a couple of days and it will be made of hard wood with miter joints, the top will be milled Alum. as will the skeleton of the unit.
So Folks tell me what you think it should have, and lets see what I can put together.
