After trying to figure out this printer for the past month, I do believe I have found the main problem. Since I have a UV Camera that is sensitive to UV light I figured I would take a short video of the UV screen going through the process of printing the upper part of a cross. And believe me I was surprise by the results. Notice how the UV light bleeds thru, no wonder I cannot get a decent print! The bleed thru on the UV light builds up a layer of resin on the bottom of resin tray and prevents the print from printing. (Mystery Solved) Maybe! Youtube link: https://youtu.be/Wzq8LBmwDmY

Hi idifix,
I should write a detailled how-to for the Rapsberry Pi version by the week.
Have since configured the Pi to use wifi so that I can remote the printer directly with my Smartphone

At least you found out the culprit to the problem of your printer. I know james also sells the lcd for $85.

since you've decided to major renovations, I recommend putting a Fresnel lens below the LCD screen
