I appreciate the comments.

Any idea what is causing the wattage fluctuations?

If you were to build 10 of the chess pieces at once, would they all turn out okay (or all fail)? Or is it uneven across the screen as well?

Thanks, sorry to hear.

I haven't heard too much else about it in the last few days. I wonder if you have a bad led. I can't imagine it would be normal to have such variation in output from print to print. It seems much more likely there is uneven light across the screen. Sucks that it seems yours has both problems.

Have you tried adjusting the power sent out via the small power board for the led? I think I have something similar and you could adjust it on the fly.

It almost sounds to me like you have a faulty psu or power board.

There were others showing decent quality, but I don't think anyone on google plus open sla have replied to the thread about printing the matrix that takes up the entire build area. Seems that would be impossible with yours.

Best of luck.

You got printer for 600$ what do expect if you want you can buy envisiontec or DWS for 115000$ same building plate size even then you will have problem expeshelly whit laser DWS. I like my is all metal and I can print on half sometimes gets printed sometime not but is ok.

You need to fix led and z-axis if you have time maybe to build your one is the best solution.

600$ cost only resin from DWS or envisiontec

Happy new year.

Thinking about taking the plunge. Is there a list of resins that are compatible with this type of printer? I've been printing with FDM printers for years, but this will be my first foray into SLA, so I'm still learning.

I'm in the US, so looking for resins that can be had here.

I've seen mention of Fun To Do, but their US distributor (www.studioqubed.com) is out of stock on most of the resins.

I also saw Senetek a few times, but I can't seem to find where to buy it anywhere, much less in the US.

Any others that are known to work well? Or others that you suspect would work well, but haven't necessarily tried?

Sorry for posting twice in a row. Any idea if MakerJuice G+ would work? They're cheap, and I like that I can buy a bottle of unpigmented and do the pigmenting myself.

I have 2 years experience with DLP printers, and in my opinion, the best resins are: makerjuice sf (red) and spot A HT (yellow), the latter a Spanish company
