That the way i made simplySla i use fan to control laser this good you can put value to control led from 2 to 100 have effect from 100 to 255 not realy

is good need to put nanodlp on this and put led to shutter!

After two weeks of trying to get this thing to work I finally did!

The printer arrived intact, but it was damaged even before they ever sent it! The resin container had stripped screws on the bottom. Also the screws on the side were taped crooked and needed to be redone so they sit flat. Wires inside of the case were shorted out (Had to fix) Software was corrupted (Minor Problem)
Each time I do a new print I have to delete software and re-load and then have to burn the firmware back into ramps (Big Bummer) Maybe the Rasberry fix will cure that problem!

Now about the prints, this machine prints as good as my Projet 1200, I print at .025 since I do jewelry models. I use FTD wax resin at 7.5 seconds per layer.

Rings take about four hours to print, my Projet 1200 would do it in two.

Printer once all of the repairs were done it works (I was surprise)
Biggest drawback having to delete and reload software each time I want to print!

Update

These were the only prints that I got! The rest of my prints are limited to 5/16 of an inch nothing more. So my best guess is the Z axis stepper motor and ramp board are damage. Hate to say it but this machine is a piece of junk. And the seller on AliExpress SHEN JIA AO SMART refuses to acknowledge the many defects of this 3d printer.

thanks for sharing your experience. sounds like you have gone through some issue's
i've orderd m3x8mm torx and hex screws to replace the screws in the resin tank. hope they will arrive soon.

cool that you have a P1200 it has the same build plate as my miicraft(43 x 27).. the great thing i found was that this little printer has 121 x 68 print aready, i can print items 3x larger at 25% of the cost

why do you need to re-load the software, what is the printer doing? not reacting to your gcode commands or? maybe we can give some tips?


I'm printing FTD IB at 7.5 sec at 0.05mm.. I would think 0.025mm should be arround 4 sec per layer, have you tried anti-alliasing and bump it up to 0.05mm?

Hey all,

Thanks for all the pictures and feedback...for awhile there I thought I was the only one taking a Chinese bet hehe

Had to bend and tweak the height switch / screw other than that the printer seem to be in good shape.

Yesterday night I finally got nanodlp to work on my raspberry pi 3 !

I love the fact it's now wireless and I can monitor a job from another room...

First successful print is a 7mm scanned head on a one pound coin...

..0.03mm layers, first 4 layer 120sec, then 10sec using senertek cast red resin.

..hoping to get that down to 60sec then 8sec...wellsee

We should start collecting resin stats here guys ??!
