Hi again folks,
Q1:
I have some GT2 timing belts laying around. I can use them with 5VDC, 18 deg step angle + 100:1 reduction gears and 1/16th microstepping. Would this be sufficient for the Z gantry on the top down SLA? why don't I see any belt driven z axis SLA machines?
Q2:
Also, on the z gantry.. I’m debating whether or not to use delrin rollers on V-slot open builds extrusions, or spending the money for a 9mm linear rail. Will there be a huge difference between one or the other?
Screws vs Belts?

Re: Screws vs Belts?
Presumably any belt driven Z-axis design for an FDM printer should be adaptable as a Z-axis for an SLA printer, but I typically see belts used for X and Y axis motion (which an SLA printer doesn't have).
