Dear all,
i'm building a SLA printer with this configuration:
Projector: ACER H6510BD
Board: ARDUINO MEGA 2560 + RAMPS 1.4 + Pololu DVR8825
Rail: HIWIN HG25R+HGW25CC
Ballscrew: R1204 C5
VAT: testing FlexVAT
Now when i start the printing process i have to give power to ramps and switch on the projector.
I'd like to close my printer (boxed version) so i have this question: how can i automate the switch on of the projector? without pushing the "on" button?
Thank you
Francesco

No need to apologize! Let us know if that solution works for you!
Re: PROJECTOR - Automatic SWITCH ON
I Finally tried the solution suggested by PacManFan:
1) Connect the projector's serial port with a USB->Serial device cable to the computer;
2) Set up the right baud rate (9600) and Data Bits (8);
3) Check under Machine configuration screen the 'Projector Commands' and 'Manual GCode' checkboxes;
4) Connect the system with Creation Workshop 1.0.0.54
5) Under "show console" i see that the projector is connected
But when i select Display2 under Projector Control the command "ACER_ON" and "ACER_OFF" doesn't work!!!!!
Any idea?

Re: PROJECTOR - Automatic SWITCH ON
You'll need a null modem cable to get it to work.
Try sending the commands in a terminal interface to see if everything's hooked up right. If the commands work from the terminal, it's a CW configuration issue; if not, it's a projector/serial cable issue.

Thank you Scatterplot,
The problem was that that the cable wasn't a nulla modem cable!!!
Now everything is Ok!
