Hi ergobot, how is the work going?
Could you please provide some usage instructions?

The pi version is not working at the moment. Will keep updates going.

Working to resolve final issues when testing the rpi conroller.
making the initial deployment easy
rxtx lib path
cleaning up html
few other misc fixes

In addition to this, we have more added and need to retest. We are targeting the raspberry pi at the moment.

The latest is available at:
https://github.com/area515/Creation-Workshop-Host/
The commands to download the build and install are located in the file named "networkinstall.sh".

Out of interest, what are you using for bug tracking?
Only a minor one - the network install script tries to download an older version of the zip which isn't on Git. I'll be able to do a bit more testing once the printer arrives...

Hi. I am trying to setup my printer with Raspberry Pi and CW RPi Host. I wonder if there is any manual how to wire RP and other stuff? I guess RP still needs some Arduino/RAMPS to drive stepper? Otherwise I saw that you need help with testing... I would be glad to help :)

To install use this:
if you want to install it than take a look at this install guide : https://github.com/WesGilster/Creation- ... lnotes.txt networkinstall isn't used anymore to install.

Now it works.

I've just bought a RPi 2, so i will try out the Host very soon. Would be a pretty neat solution if i come up with a web interface :)

Cheers^^

What's the current status of this?
Installed the latest update yesterday; it runs, but I can't seem to get any response from the printer.

Using the autodetected printer, /dev/ttyUSB0, display :0.0; started the printer and clicked on enable motors. Tried driving the Z axis and there's no visible response. I haven't tried uploading a print to it yet as if I can't get the motor to drive there seems little sense in trying a more complex use case.
Is there a debug output that can be enabled?
