Resin Replacement

Hey everybody,

now we offer our resin replacement for reducing printcosts.

We've test it for a very long term now and it works really great.

Works very great with FunToDo resin (normal, insdustrial blend,...) and Makerjuice (SubG+, SubSF,...). Madesolid is now in the testing period.

You can use it for weeks. You only need to stock up your resin in the VAT after printing. We've printed 5L of resin floating on only 1L resin replacement (without changing the replacement).

For example, your vat has got a volume of 1L. With a resin price of 80$, you can print only once, than you have to stock up your resin to the correct level. That means you have to use a minimum of 80$. With resin replacement you only need 100ml or less of resin for printing. The rest will be stocked up with resin replacement. So you need 8$ of resin, and around 20$ for the replacement. After your print, you only need to fill up a little bit of resin. So the costs are around 28$, but you don't have to fill up the replacement for the next weeks.

The costs for our resin replacement:

0,5L --> 12$
1L --> 20$
5L --> 90$
10L --> 175$

For more informations and orders please leave me message.

For safe payments, we prefer PayPal.

Very interesting!

Can you tell us a little more about what it is? Is it just salt water or is it a special formula?

Hey guys,

sorry, it's not salt water because after a few prints, the salt water reacts with some kinds of resin.

We had tested our mixture with diffrent compositions before we get the best result.

For example, if you heat the resin a little bit, you are able to get very very thin layers. With salt water as a replacement, the salt can crystallize after a term of heating and printing. Also the salt can have an effect on the printed parts. A colourchange is possible too!

That's the reason why we don't use salt water!

In the next days, we will upload more pictures at www.ruhrbot-labs.de and open our online shop. Ordering via Mail is now possible.

We hope we can lower the printing costs for a lot of people!

Sounds good! It would be nice if your website had an English language support as well. I am interested in trying out your resin replacement. I hope you will take Paypal payments.

Would this work nice with the b9 resins? They are typically a lot denser

Hi,

it should work with nearly every Resin. Until now we never had problems with it.

Maybe we got the chance to test the B9 Resins and we will upload some pictures.
