So this means we would need the slicer to output the area based on calculating the maximum "blob" area. There won't be much suction force if the projection area is spread over a lot of tiny parts, rather than concentrated in one part.
Maybe it would be possible to add a variable $maxArea that we could use to calculate retraction speed for each layer? Steve?

Since the biggest cost of this type of printer seems to be the Teflon AF sheet, I wonder if you could get the same effect by floating the resin on a layer of Perflourocarbon.

It's a glass clear chemically inert liquid that can be highly oxygenated. If that worked, this could get a whole lot cheaper.

I found a supplier of Teflon AF Sheets! and its cheap! For my 500x400mm sheet is only $23!!! Ordered their entire supply.

Without going into all the speed/surface and whatnot calculations,
you could just go with the slowest settings to get a 25X faster printer and not worry about getting the 100X speed.
