Hi your printer looks great. I was wondering how the projector registers to the mirror. What keeps it from being out of alignment etc?

The printer and most projectors have soft rubber feet so they aren't likely to move out of alignment unless you bump them pretty hard. Even though it hasn't been an issue for us many people have asked about this so we are designing an add-on mount for different projectors.

Don't be sorry!! It's given me time to design a new, smaller printer and we're getting great results from the prototype. It will have the same peeling and unparalleled resolution as Solus but with a few big improvements.

Hi,

I'm happy to announce we are ready to launch our new printer and it runs using Steve's great Creation Workshop software. We've completely redesigned it from the original Solus and focused on the ultra high-resolution market. Upgrades include an enclosed body and mirror, magnetic projector mount, upgraded motor drivers, CNC'd arm and 15mm solid build plate, treated first surface mirror, genuine quartz and friction hinges for the lid.

It uses the same smooth peeling method as the original Solus which gives sharp details, a professional surface finish and should last a very long time with proper care.

It has a maximum resolution of 25XY with a 48x27x80mm build area and up to 42 microns XY with a 80x45x80mm build area. Below are some pictures and if you'd like more information please visit
