But I'm not entirely sure how it's actually flexing. If you have time, could you post a short video ?

It's the same principle as done here.

The difference is the tensioning part and the VAT itself.

I fix the FEP-film to the alu-frame from one side, then from the other side I have another "plastic frame" that goes against (and beyond) the film.
This makes the film getting tight .... hope that makes since.

Great job. Nice tight design. 2 questions:
1. I am assuming that the FF printed parts are ABS?
2. Is there any issue with the resin in contact with the side wall part?

I would hope that its not an ABS printed part, the resin would eat thru it over time. For plastics that come into contact with resin, I've used PLA and PET for some time.
