Seemingly there exists some kind of fluid to glue ("vernetzten") Silcone gel coatings better to glass and plastic:

Has anyone ever tried something like that?

i don't know if that is such a good idea. The coating is tough enough so that it doesn't peel off while printing, but it's easy to remove when changing coatings.
With the primer it should be pretty hard to peel off the existing coat.

It might be good to use for flexible silicone walls for a flexible VAT though.
