Hi everyone. It`s my first post in this forum.
I want to ask if such item is Ok for using it as Z-axis?

NEMA 17 Lead Screw 300mm Stepper Motor M8 Z axis 3D Printer CNC RepRap
Features:
One 42HB34F08AB M8 Lead Screw 8mm screw pitch Stepper Motor
Lead Screw 300mm
Specifications:
- Diameter: 8mm
- Pitch: 8mm

That looks like it will work well. You'll be able to make some really tall prints with a 300mm axis.

Thank you for answer.

But I`m worried about 8 mm pitch. So at one rotation
of stepper motor the platform will move 8 mm.

If I use 1.8°/step stepper driver in 1/8 microstep mode
will my system be precise enough?
