after putting the resin in the vat let it de-gas a little, lets say 30 minutes.

What I normally like to do is use a can of air to gently pop the bubbles. Something I learned when doing many resin castings in the past. Please be careful and hold the can of air far enough so that it don't blow your resin our of the vat.
