UV vs visible light resins

Postby JollyRoger » Wed Sep 30, 2015 10:48 am

So I'm wondering basically what the difference in quality is with regards to UV or visible light resins. It seems UV resins have a lot more downsides than visible light resins if the finished products are similar. For example, a UV DMD kit form TI costs 13,000USD, while their normal DLP ones are less than 500USD. Which makes me wonder why anyone would bother with UV projectors and expensive setups if visible light resins are an option.
