ABS types are not a problem. The problem you are starting out with is using bottom up projection through a vat and peeling every layer along with using UV. This limits the viscosity, solids content and curing rate of the resins and composites as well as curing depth.
There is a project that is using SLA to print laptop and cellphone cases using similar resins. These resins might become standard products in the near future.
