Thanks Pomeroy

GUYS! Last night I did a test print with super long settle times (30s) between layers. This helped tremendously...virtually no bulging. Also increased Z height from 30um to 50um which helped the resin settle between layers. I'm thinking about getting some Spot A to test next to try to get these settle times lower. So excited about this :)

How fast is your build time with a 30 second dwell?

About 8 hours for 45mm height

Not terrible... Especially since you're building a 50 microns!

I wonder where you begin to get diminishing returns... Is 15 seconds enough? 10? But how do you measure bulging? Just by looks? or is there some quantitative method?

I might have to do some testing on this... not too keen on the wiper solution.

Just by eye..mainly things that are straight in the model are now straight (which were bulging before)

Since I'm doing prints overnight, I just set maximum dwell that could fit in 8 hours. I tried 15 s actually and was still getting some bulge, but not as much. It all depends on how viscous your resin is, how thick your Z resolution is and how wide your part is.

I will definitely be trying Spot A LV next since FTD seems pretty thick. Does anyone know of any other good low viscosity resins?
