Hi everyone,
I had a vivitek D555 projector but whatever I did I couldn't get good results. But using an acer solved my problem. I can't figure this out? What's wrong with the Vivitek? Now I suspect one thing. The D555 has a 3d ready technology. Does anyone know what is this technology exactly? Does it really affect printing quality? If so what should I do?
3D Ready technology

Re: 3D Ready technology
"3D Ready" is not a "technology", it's software.
Means that the projector can read the 3D video formats (side by side, one over another and so on - all kinds of "two frames packed in one" formats).
I don't see how this can affect printing.
Have you removed the UV filter from the D555?
If yes, then i can only suspect that there is some other filtering piece of optics in there, or a cleaner kind of a lamp.
