Two-photon polymerization

Postby danielm » Thu Mar 26, 2015 11:54 am

Hi, I found several references of this technology inl this forum. What is your opinion - is it feasable to make it working DIY way?

In my opinion, scanning over the same/partly overlaping area with two galvo systems is not problematic. What I am affraid of is construction of femtosecond laser sources and their synchronization. Maybe split of beam from single source would be sufficient, but again, synchronization would be tricky. Does anybody have experience in this area or can anybody elaborate further?

Femtosecond laser sources are very expensive.

Try building an inverse microscope SLA printer. It's good for features down to ~1um without too much expense or effort.
