Re: CW 36/41 crashes immediately on Mac OS X. Workaround?

The good news is that I left the bootloader on the boards, I use xloader on windows to upload grbl there is hexuploader for osx also

https://github.com/downloads/grbl/grbl/ ... z_9600.hex

You can change the grbl settings in a terminal window connected to the arduino.

Re: Projector focus

A longer cure time (enough to fully form each of the posts, it's ok if the smallest one is a little floppy) will get rid of a lot of the ridging too. When undercured during the separation stresses the edges of each layer can get roughened. Great job so far!

Re: Linear rail/car assembly

The rubber parts are wipers, these rails are meant for much more punishing environments than that we are offering, so running them with and without the wipers will work. If you take the wipers off re-install the screws though as they help retain the plastic end caps which contain the recirculating b...

Re: Supports breaking off

The smallest column should be fully formed (a little floppy is ok and a sign of the minimum acceptable cure time but the column should be the full length and not broken), it does indeed look like undercurring. Undercurring will leave a rough finish also as some of the surface disentegrates during th...

Re: Little beast

Ya you can do it in gcode, I will inquire with Steve about adding something again. Awesome print, will be nice to have other people looking into tweaking these resins for high detail. As for 25micron and lower print times, generally halving the layer height you can go down 10-25% in layer time, and ...

Re: Little beast

Ya the b9 software is very good for support generation, I generally use medium supports with a 50% cone. The test sheet piece you are doing seems like it would be a tough print, how big is the base seems awfully large area :) It looks like you are losing the prints when you are transitioning from th...

"What I do that I really like is I use mason jars, I pour some resin into a mason jar, then use 10ml syringes to go from the mason jar to the vat. When I am done printing for the day I will pour the unused resin back into the mason jar (a lot easier than pouring it back into the bottle). If you...

Re: Little beast

Ya the 9 post is a harder print and it does have to do with build plate leveling. One way to fine tune the build plate leveling is with the projector off. Put resin into the vat, and lower the build plate all the way. Since the resin is somewhat opaque, looking underneath through the mirror we can s...
