Re: Cracks appearing in the vat window

I use cast acrylic, which is more resistant than extruded, but ya crazing can be an issue with any acryilc. I would just use one of those eyeglass microfiber rags.

Re: Cracks appearing in the vat window

I can make windows with a cutout central portion. Have you cleaned the acrylic with anything, wiped it with anything liquid / solvent etc?

Re: LittleRP2 firmware version

It's .8a

I'm sure newer versions will work fine though, nothing special about the one I use!

Re: LittleRP2 Information

Greetings Goopyplastic, I am from South africa and I would like to build a Littlerp2. Are you able to provide an 3d part assembly drawing (solidworks, rhino, spaceclaim or other) of the machine for those of us that may need to redesign to suit the parts or fabrication methods we have available to u...

Re: Little RP2 - Print Height

- Are you using CW? Which version? - After slicing can you click on the view gcode and email me the contents, or put on google drive or box or something? - Also feel the stepper driver on the controller board with a finger during a print (ground yourself on something metal first, like a t-slot leg),...

Re: LittleRP2 Information

I include the extra spacers 'in case' , however generally you would only use the clear discs under the thumbscrews, and the orange spacers under the vat window. By using different combinations of spacers you can tension the vat differently if needed.

The values listed on the littlerp.com website are for a standard DRV8825 driver in 1/8 microstepping mode, hence why it is 200. You should be able to change this value by $2=400 in the GRBL console window, and will...

Re: Little 2 kit availability?

Thanks for the interest, I don't have any plans to put new batches of kits in the webstore and my main focus at the moment is to support existing customers / provide help with the open source project. Inventory depletion / lack of available time / and increasing number of low cost lcd based printers...
