Re: Creation Workshop RC9 - Not on GitHub!
Maybe I'm missing something that is right out in the open, but how do I generate supports? I have an older beta 13 version that generates supports, but the newer ones I've downloaded don't have the option of generating supports. Am I missing something? EDIT: Nevermind, I'm an idiot. I just needed to...

I may be late to join the party, but how did you design your vat?

Optically clear FEP or translucent?
Does anyone seem to think one would be better over the other? I can find optically clear FEP film, but I see there are some DLP printers using a more translucent PTFE film. I can see where the translucent film would actually produce a sharp image on the film itself, whereas the clear film will let t...

Re: Galvanometer???
You may want to take a look at this thread: http://www.buildyourownsla.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1538 and skip to the end. CW can support the LaserShark, but it's still in the initial stages of support. Why do you want to build a Galvo setup instead of a DLP based machine? 4096x4096 is grea...

Re: Patent infringement
It depends on where in the world you live. If you're in the US, any use of a patented technology (Even if you build it in your basement and never show anyone) is infringement. In other parts of the world, people are allowed to build patented devices as long as it's not a commercial venture. Whether...

Re: Usable projector list + hacks
I have an Optoma EP758 (1024x768 -- I know, I know)
I want to replace the lamp with a UV LED. I've been trying to figure out what I need to ground/bridge on the lamp driver module connector in order for the projector to think the lamp is still in the machine and working.
Any ideas?

Re: Trouble Curing SubG+
Hi, Removing the color wheel or other pieces of glass between the lamp and the dlp chip will shorten the life of the chip significantly (because it doesn't like the UV light and the hinges of the little mirrors will fry) Hope this helps! dlp_builder http://www.funtodo.net How true is this, really? ...

Re: LiquiGlide vs Teflon
Yes!! And the results are not conclusive unfortunately. It seems like the guys at MIT worked out some kind of sorcery when creating the Liquiglide. First thing, let me tell you that a bottle of ketchup, or any other bottle built with this technology is more elaborate that I expected. It is built of...
