Re: SLA printing

Parts printed with current resin technology are not strong enough for engineering purpose though.

Re: Post Cure Lamp

Have you tried to place your part in water (transparent glass jar) during UV curing ?
The absence of oxygen greatly reduces curing time, tried it myself.

Re: My new material for VAT

But have you tried it on a DLP printer ? for a relatively large print surface ? say 30cm x 40 cm layer surface ? and many repetitions on the same part.

Re: My new material for VAT

Cool.

I'm not 100% clear on what you will be selling and what kind of vat we need to use your material. How do we fix it ?

Have you got a video when you are actually printing with it, in a vat of resin, this way I can better understand.

Thanks for the good work.

Re: Any resins strong enough for engineering purpose ?

@ Hugues If you are able to order 20Kg or more at a time or cover a day or two of formulation time we can blend resins to your specs http://bucktownpolymers.com/services.html Interesting, Do you have specs for the strongest resin you manufacture ? Ideally: as strong as injection molded ABS or bette...

Re: Any resins strong enough for engineering purpose ?

.... Hi Hugues, Although the IB is strong enough to make coathanger parts from it, the name has nothing to do with the strength. The name reflects merely the extreme temperature range it can take and the exceptional resistance against nearly all chemicals. (You can read all about the properties on ...
