Re: Multiple monitors
So can it be any even number of projectors? Like one would be able to just scale up for any number of projectors? This could be a fun project to make a large format DLP printer :D . Though just thinking about four 1080p projectors at 100 microns X/Y only gives a build area of 216mm by 384mm...not t...

Re: DLP printer Build
Thanks for the comments guys. Anderson which parts are you looking at? Most are not custom besides the build plate mount other than that it's all fairly simple pieces. And one of the first prints that actually finished today. lol First 3 didn't stick to the build plate at all so they just made a bl...

Re: 3DLPrinter from Robot Factory
Their release mechanism is just like what Edge has in his design I think. It's like a combination of a slide and tilt. Wonder what they are using for vat coatings...

CoreX/Y Moving Pico
Just throwing out an idea for a moving pico setup using CoreX/Y. Granted we still need to work on the software to do so.

Re: M-One by MakeX
I think similar body style with the "backpack" approach with a 1080P Projector would be amazing. Couple of features I'd still like to see rolled into a commercial machine: - Computer free design, RasPi/BBB with screen of sorts for navigation - Wifi/Bluetooth upload files (just so we can sl...

Re: M-One by MakeX
It's DLP, pico or not is up for debate, but given the small footprint, it prolly is pico (no 1080P though given the specced X/Y vs working window).
As for the vid, its a time lapse and the object is just an outer mesh, so it looks like drawing but its not.
I got my moneys ready!

Re: Projector characteristics
Hi people, I'm new and I'm trying to make a 3D printer and I've got few questions about the projector, maybe you can help me. - The resine is cured thanks to the UV light? there are resines that works without UV light? differences between them? - The only important characteristics in a projector ar...

Join us on IRC!
Just figured I'd let people know that a few of us on the forums can also be found on IRC, #dlp3dprinting on freenode.
I also made #AddFab (freenode too) to talk about 3D printing in general.
Might be good to get immediate responses and just talk shop in a more fluid environment.
