Re: Retina iPad Display
That article states a max resolution of 1920x1080, not good enough for a high res panel.

Re: multi-layered VAT caused too many reflections
The vat reflection issue could be sidestepped entirely with a flexible tensioned vat; there are some examples of this floating around the forum. If you're sticking with your current design, then the borosilicate glass may be the culprit behind all of those reflections, I'd try more acrylic (PMMA) in...

Good to know! I'm looking on their site, and they don't have much in the way of specifics, or price. Did I just miss it somewhere?

CW on ARM Linux
I've been playing around with the idea of running CW on an ARM board, the Odroid XU3, which is a pretty powerful little computer running Debian. Without any modification, Creation Workshop will run, but crashes when you try to do much of anything, confirming my strong suspicion that it would need re...

Re: Floating resin in Bottom Up setup
I've tried this with both salt water and glycerine, and neither works very well. The problem is that the build plate moving causes a lot of turbulence, as does the model rising and lower back into position. I found that I could get a few good layers, but then everything went woobly. That's a very te...
