My first guess would be that your lift sequence does take a lot longer than 2000ms. Try a higher value.Did you use the auto-calc button? If that's the case you should check your firmware stettings. Don't know much about grbl, but there should be a setting for max z speed. Hope that helps... Matze, ...

Make sure your serial stuff is set up correctly, including checking the right boxes for Z axis control, as well as your serial port baud rate, stop bits, and so on, and make sure you're hitting the Connect button at the top before trying to send commands. Hola, I just built a Droplit from Seemecnc, and I can't (and others on the Seemecnc forum) can't get the printer to work. The Droplit comes with Arduino Uno and gShield.
