Re: Z-Level
As has been pointed out elsewhere, the Z axis is pretty well defined by the screw pitch * amount of rotation - if your stepper motor isn't slipping, then the Z arm is being moved the appropriate amount.
Re: Z-Level
Are you printing directly onto the build plate or are you using a platform + supports? If the former, you'll probably find the same as I did with my cal block - the early burn-in layers aren't accurate in the Z axis, presumably due to a combination of exposure and the build plate compressing the PDM...

Re: Improving print quality, calibrating print size
Exposure times have been increased about 30% now (in 10% increments) and that seems to have improved things. X/Y scaling I've addressed in the build size settings for the printer, scaling them down to increase the size of the print. Z accuracy I've tested by putting the block on supports and measuri...

Improving print quality, calibrating print size
Pottering along with getting some prints out, these are the results of printing a 123 block this morning (SubSF, 50u slices, 3500ms/8000ms). Ignoring the fluff... The top looks not bad: https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-yTMtSkhQqts/VOIkt0KcBRI/AAAAAAAADtM/OuDhqFOnzo8/s640/123_block_top.jpg But the ...

Adhesive for the light hood
Has anyone used Tensol 12 to glue the acrylic hood together? It's a solvent weld which seems to be suitable for transparent acrylics, it has limited gap filling capabilities but given the cut panels are quite close fitting it would seem to be a viable candidate.

Re: New Creation Workshop RPi Host
Out of interest, what are you using for bug tracking?
Only a minor one - the network install script tries to download an older version of the zip which isn't on Git. I'll be able to do a bit more testing once the printer arrives...

Re: Help Wanted! An Open Invitation!
Just about to take delivery of a LittleRP, with an interest in using CW host on a Pi. Currently wondering if the Pi 2 has enough grunt to do the slicing directly. I'm an embedded software engineer turned jeweller, so I'm happy to chip in on dev work/bug fixing as needed. Git username ps-bond. Curren...

I've bought from them before with no issues; I can't imagine they wouldn't ship within the EU.
