Re: Tilt upgrade FEP modification
Nalmeida, there is a reason, why I am pushing FEP down. It is easy to take off FEP-vat from the tilt base. Only 4 screw-nuts. Its very important, nobody wants to dismount the whole tilt mechanism, simply to clear the vat. I can't imagine any simple-dismount inverse mechanism. :( At this moment, FEP ...

Tilt upgrade FEP modification
Hi! I was wonder, if there is a way to create really powerful anti-sticking solution. Because, you know, there is some cheap resins (like FTD castable), that very sticky, and the result of each print are very dependable from coating conditions. I am going to modificate standard tilt upgrade http://l...

Re: Problems with the FEP Vat..
As far, as I know, FEP Vat's base are higher than Petri dish bottom. So, there is no way to print at same focus distance as with Petri.

Goopyplastic, what closeup lens diameter and strength do you use on Acer 1500?
I think, that closeup lens are really needed, when it comes to FEP vat.

Re: How to reduce noise?
I have found one addittional jumper and testing 1/32 microstepping mode right now. I can tell for sure, that the noise is not so annoying now. But it is not so easy to get proper speed settings for 1/32. I had printed a lot of resized models, and the only way to fix it was changing lift sequence in ...

Re: How to reduce noise?
Thanks, Goopyplastic. I want to try 1/32.
I already have two jumpers at MS1 and MS2. Do you mean, that I need to add new jumper (I don't have any) to M3, or switch jumper from MS1/MS2 to MS3?

How to reduce noise?
I wonder, if there is a way to reduce noise from stepper motor? Because it is annoying and much stronger than noise from projector.
I don't want to change the motor or it's driver, but If you know really silent stepper motor, please, advice.

Re: [HELP]More informaion please...
When you are filling resin in the VAT (petry dish), the build platform must be somewhere up. But when you start printing, it must be at the lowest possible position.
Do you watch tutorial? It is very helpful.

Re: [HELP]More informaion please...
The first layer must be filled. Or it will never stick to platform. You need to use "Put object on platform" button in CW software. - The build plate must be flush the top of resin or VAT ? (VAT I think). I usually fill 1/3 of my petry dish volume. If it is enough for model, of course. - T...
